Hair tutorial - Braids
This tutorial is for Photoshop 5.0, but works in other versions of Photoshop as well.
 
1. Getting the shape of the braid is the trickiest part. I always find it easier to draw a test-braid first before starting on the actual hair. I've used three different colours to make it easier to see what goes where. 2. When you feel happy with the braid shape fill the whole braid area and then draw the whole hair. 3. Pick the darkest of the three colours and make the outline on a new layer. See the other hair tutorials how to do that.
